The JLD Bridge Doctor, Screw Mount is installed inside your guitar via a screw passing down through your bridge. As strings pass over the saddle above the guitar top, there is a constant upward and forward pull on the bridge which can eventually cause the top to warp or belly up. The JLD Bridge Doctor uses a leverage block and a tension-adjustable wooden pressure post to counteract the upward pull of the strings.
